Job Overview
Pay: $13.50 per hour, plus commission on every live transfer. Part-time, Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Evenings and weekends off. Your hourly is guaranteed; the commission is uncapped and comes down to how many good transfers you put through.
No insurance license required. No insurance experience required. Paid coaching and training are included from day one.
This is a phone role. You call our leads, confirm they are interested in an insurance quote, and transfer them live to a licensed agent who takes it from there. You do not quote, you do not sell coverage, and you do not need a license to do this job. You get people on the phone and hand off a warm, live conversation.
In-person only. This position works from our office at 2820 Waterford Lake Dr, Midlothian, VA. It is not remote or hybrid.
Why This Role Exists
Our agents can only quote the people who actually pick up. Leads go cold within minutes, and a live transfer converts far better than a callback ever will. That is the job: dial fast, have a good short conversation, and get the caller onto an agent's line while they are still engaged.
This is also a real entry point into the insurance industry. Several of our full-time agents started on the phones. If you want the licensed path, we will pay for your licensing courses when you are ready.
Ideal Candidate
This role is best for someone who:
- Is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Wants a guaranteed hourly wage with uncapped commission upside
- Sounds friendly and confident on the phone with people they have never met
- Can handle hearing no and dial the next number without losing steam
- Wants a consistent part-time daytime schedule
- Is interested in learning the insurance business from the ground up
This role is not ideal for someone who:
- Is uncomfortable making outbound calls
- Wants a remote or work-from-home position
- Prefers work without daily activity targets

Requirements
- No prior insurance experience or license required
- Comfortable making outbound calls for the majority of your shift
- Clear speaking voice and strong listening skills
- Reliable attendance on a consistent weekly schedule
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work in a CRM, which we train you on

Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to district-supplied lead lists
- Confirm interest and basic qualifying details
- Transfer interested, qualified callers live to a licensed agent, which is what you are paid commission on
- Log every call, outcome, and note accurately in the CRM
- Hit daily dial and live-transfer targets
- Follow all call scripts, calling-hour rules, and do-not-call requirements
